Intel 13th Generation PCH is compatible with Raptor Lake series processors. This series includes Intel Core i5, i7 and i9 processors. It features the LGA1700 socket type and is designed for both desktop and high-performance notebook platforms. The 13th Generation processors offer more performance cores (P-core) and efficiency cores (E-core) with Intel’s enhanced hybrid architecture.

The Intel 13th Generation PCH covers 700 series chipsets and comes in a BGA package. Below are the basic pin configurations:
- PCIe Lines: Support for 16 PCIe Gen 5 lines and 8 PCIe Gen 4 lines.
- USB Connections: 12 USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 and 10 USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports.
- SATA Connections: 6 SATA 6Gbps ports and Intel Optane Memory support.
- Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 support.
- Support for Intel HD Audio, Intel Smart Sound and Wi-Fi 7.
📏 Physical Properties
The Intel 13th Generation PCH is usually in a BGA package measuring 25 mm x 24 mm. The chip is manufactured with a lead-free solder ball composition (Sn-Ag-Cu). This structure improves thermal performance while complying with environmental standards.
🔥 Thermal Properties
The maximum operating temperature of the Intel 13th Generation PCH can reach up to 125°C. In normal use, the temperature range is usually between 45°C and 95°C. An efficient cooling solution is recommended for intensive compute loads.

Intel 13th Generation PCH is manufactured using Intel’s 10nm Enhanced SuperFin manufacturing process. This technology increases energy efficiency and improves performance. Production takes place in Intel’s factories in the US, Ireland and Israel.
📦 Package Information
Intel 13th Generation PCH is available in BGA 1700 and BGA 1800 packages. These packages are soldered directly to the motherboard and cannot be replaced. Care must be taken during repair and refurbishment processes.
