Intel 12th Generation PCH is compatible with Alder Lake series processors. This series includes Intel Core i3, i5, i7, i9 and Intel Xeon processors. It has the LGA1700 socket type and is used in both desktop and laptop computers. The 12th Generation processors feature Intel’s hybrid architecture, combining performance cores (P-core) and efficiency cores (E-core).

The maximum operating temperature of Intel 12th Generation PCH can reach up to 120°C. In normal use, the temperature range is usually between 40°C and 90°C. Extra cooling solutions are recommended for high performance systems.

The Intel 12th Generation PCH is offered in the BGA 1700 package. This package is soldered directly to the motherboard and cannot be replaced. Care must be taken in the repair and refurbishment processes.
