Intel 9th Generation PCH is compatible with Coffee Lake Refresh series processors. This series includes Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and i9 processors. It has the LGA1151 socket type and is heavily used in desktop platforms. 9th Generation processors offer higher performance and a higher core count compared to previous generations.

The Intel 9th Generation PCH covers 300 series chipsets and is available in a BGA package. Below are the basic pin configurations:

- USB Connections: 10 USB 3.1 Gen 2 and 14 USB 2.0 ports.
- SATA Connections: 6 SATA 6Gbps ports and Intel Optane Memory support.

📏 Physical Properties
The Intel 9th Generation PCH is usually in a 23 mm x 23 mm BGA package. The chip is manufactured with a lead-free solder ball composition (Sn-Ag-Cu). This structure provides better thermal performance and complies with environmental standards.
🔥 Thermal Properties
The maximum operating temperature of Intel 9th Generation PCH can reach up to 110°C. In normal use, the temperature range is usually between 45°C and 85°C. Cooling solutions are recommended for performance-intensive systems.

📦 Package Information
Intel 9th Generation PCH is available in BGA 1440 and BGA 1356 packages. These packages are soldered directly to the motherboard and cannot be replaced. Therefore, care must be taken during repair and refurbishment processes.
